We only have one option for your 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300 coupe, and that's the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11485. This is a class I that has a max weight capacity of 2,000 lbs, and has a max tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs.

I am big fan of the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack item # TH903202 and highly recommend it. We've been selling the EasyFold for years and haven't heard of any heat related issues due to storage.
